The following are areas where sandbags will be distributed:
The City of Harlingen is making sandbags available to residents and businesses starting at 9 a.m. Friday.
Sandbags are available at the Public Works Facility located at 404 South 54th Street until 7 p.m.
Additionally, sandbags will be distributed at this location starting on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Harlingen will also distribute sandbags at Victor Park, located at 1601 South M. Street.
At both locations, residents will need to provide ID verifying they live in Harlingen along with a water bill.
The City of Elsa will be beginning distributing sandbags to residents Friday at 1:30 p.m.
The distribution site will be on N. Fannin at the Public Works Building and residents will have to show proof of residency. Maximum of 4 sandbags per residence.

Mile 11 N. and Mile 1 1/2 W. in Mercedes.

The sandbags will be distributed Friday, July 24, 2020, beginning at 12 pm noon until 11 pm. Residents must provide proof of Pharr residency, and must bag their own bags. There is a limit of six (6) sandbags per household and twelve (12) sandbags per business.
The City of Weslaco will provide sandbags for residents at Weslaco City Hall.
Rio Grande City
2 p.m.to 6 p.m.

Must be living inside Rio Grande City limits. Proof of residency is required-ID card and utility bill is required.
The city will provide the bags and sand, but people must fill them.
5 bag limit per household/address.
The city of Mission is hosting a self-serve sandbag distribution on Friday beginning at 1 p.m. at Lions Park. maximum of seven bags per residence. 10 per business.
City Parking lot on the west side of City Hall along the railroad tracks
Six per household and 10 for businesses. Residents must show water bill or proof of residency
The city of Raymondville will be issuing out Sandbags starting Friday at 10:30 a.m
South Padre Island
Sandbags are available at the Public Works Workshop located at the corner of West Venus and Laguna Boulevard.
The site is “self-bagging,” meaning the bags and sand are provided for free, but residents and businesses will need to bring shovels and fill their own bags.
* Residents will be allowed five bags per property.
* Businesses will be allowed ten bags per property.
Cameron County has designated several locations for sandbag distribution. Pick-up will be available on July 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the following locations.

Brownsville Mayor Trey Mendez wrote on his Facebook page the city would be having a sandbag distribution on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the events center.
Proof of residency will be required, bags will be pre-filled.
