Lone Star National Bank – Insurance Program Funding Proposal
Strategic Pitch Deck & Financial Model to Secure $250K Institutional Investment
Role: Lead Strategist & Creative
Client: Lone Star National Bank – Insurance Division
Scope: 100% — research, financial modeling, data analysis, narrative design, and presentation development
The Opportunity
Lone Star National Bank sought to launch a new insurance program but needed formal approval from the CFO and Board of Directors to secure $250K in funding. With no existing business case or visual pitch, the bank needed a compelling, data-driven proposal that clearly demonstrated ROI, market opportunity, and execution feasibility.
Our Approach
- Financial Modeling & Analytics: Built detailed Excel/Sheets models projecting revenue, customer acquisition costs, break-even timelines, and 3-year profitability—proving the program’s financial viability.
- Strategic Narrative: Translated complex insurance and banking concepts into a clear, persuasive story tailored for executive decision-makers.
- Presentation Design: Created a polished, boardroom-ready pitch deck (Google Slides + Canva + Adobe Illustrator) with clean data visualizations, brand-aligned visuals, and executive summaries.
- End-to-End Ownership: Conducted market research, structured the business logic, designed every slide, and validated assumptions—guided only by high-level direction from the Insurance President and a third-party provider (who provided minimal input).
Tools: Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Excel, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Data Visualization
