Get ready for weekly adventures at the International Museum of Art & Science exploring a wide range of fun, exciting and educational themes all summer long!
Each week is a new adventure as we create, discover and explore at the IMAS! Operation Imagination Campers experience hands-on art and science activities.
5 days a week: MONDAY through FRIDAY!

NO CAMP ON THURSDAY, JULY 4th.
Week of July 1, 2, 3, & 5 discounted
Camps run Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
with before-care from 8-9 a.m. and aftercare from 3-4 p.m.

Camp registration fee: $175
IMAS Members: $140
Reduced rate for week of July 1-5.
Camp fees include daily lunch and snack, exploration of current museum exhibits, a camp shirt, a camp backpack, and an exciting summer experience!

K-2ND GRADE THEMES:
Week 1 (June 10-14): Safari Adventures
Bring your sense of adventure as we explore the animal kingdom! Learn about different ecosystems, experiment with sea-monkeys, learn about birdwatching, cast an animal footprint, and more.
Week 2 (June 17-21): Movin’ and Groovin’
Sing, dance and play music! Create musical instruments, learn about the science of sound, flex like a gymnast, and more! This camp is all about how the body moves and how the mind grooves.
Week 3 (June 24-28): Around the World
Travel around the world in four days and fill up your IMAS Passport. Learn about different cultures through hands-on art and science activities. Visit Japan, France, Pakistan, Australia and Ancient Mexico.
Week 4 (July 1, 2,3 & 5 – CLOSED JULY 4): Theatre Arts
Lights! Camera! Action! Get ready for the spotlight as we dive into the world of theatre arts. Learn about set design, write a script, and put on a play for your peers.
Week 5 (July 8-12): Brick Builders
Become a LEGO master during this STEM camp. Put your architectural and engineering skills to the test as your construct buildings and race LEGO robots.
Week 6 (July 15-19): Creepy Crawlers
Explore the creepy, crawly world of bugs! Learn about different types of insects, meet the bugs that call IMAS home, and make a bug mosaic.
Week 7 (July 22-26): Mine Mania
Minecraft comes to life in this STEM camp! Practice archery, mine for elements, explore geology, and learn to code.
Week 8 (July 29-August 2): Aqua Adventure
Explore the depths of the oceans. Learn about ocean creatures, discover the science behind whale sounds, and understand the wonders of water.
Week 9 (August 5-9): Poké Trainers
Become a gym leader! Learn about electricity, engineer a flying Pokémon, design a papier-mâché Poké Ball, and count how many Pokémon you can catch in our scavenger hunt.
Week 10 (August 12-16): Jr. Astronauts
Prepare for blast off! Learn what it takes to become an astronaut, try space food, build a model rocket, create a Martian garden and more.
3RD-6TH GRADE THEMES:
Week 1 (June 10-14): Art Stars
Discover what it takes to be an art star! Advance your skills in paper art drawing, painting, sculpting, and printmaking.
Week 2 (June 17-21): Science of Music
What is music? Explore the science behind instruments and sound waves. Learn how music affects brain chemistry, and build your own instrument.
Week 3 (June 24-28): Forensic Science
Learn what it takes to be a Crime Scene Investigator! Explore the field of forensic science as you dust for prints, analyze blood, and solve a mystery at the IMAS.
Week 4 (July 1, 2,3 & 5 – CLOSED JULY 4): Young Innovators
Put on your thinking cap as you become a modern innovator. DIY your way through various art, science and engineering challenges. Make your own journal, construct a solar oven, and work with wood!
Week 5 (July 8-12): Brain Games
Challenge your brain! Compete with your peers in strategy games, learn how to play chess, and race against the clock to solve puzzles.
Week 6 (July 15-19): Blooming Botanists
Discover what it takes to be a botanist. Learn about native species, dissect and press flowers, and build a terrarium.
Week 7 (July 22-26): Tech Squad
Join the IMAS Tech Squad! Build a KANO computer, create wearable electronics, program a video game, and more.
Week 8 (July 29-August 2): Water Worlds
Explore the field of hydrology. Discover water on other planets, create an aquifer, and learn about aquatic animals by dissecting a blue crab!
Week 9 (August 5-9): Wizards-in-Training
Physics, history and chemistry come together in this magical camp! Brew potions, create a chemical garden, learn about medieval engineering, and play with the forces of electro-magnetism.
Week 10 (August 12-16): Space Explorers
Leap into the world of space science. Create a 3-D solar system, examine space rocks, explore the life cycle of a star, eat astronaut food, and create a Martian garden.
